Died July 16, 1943, Jordan, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Son of Alonzo I. and Mattie Hall Foster.
Husband of Viola Standefer Foster.

Raymond Bishop Foster, 42, of Old Joe died Friday, July 16, 1943, at his home in Jordan, Arkansas, from tuberculosis. He was born January 13, 1901, at Calico Rock to Alonzo L. and Mattie Hall Foster.
He is survived by his wife, Viola Standefer Foster; four daughters Wanda, Leda, Glenda and Jackie Foster; his father, Alonzo Foster; one brother, Gradie Foster; and six sisters, Stella Pruitt, Nancy Snelgroves, Hattie Sanders, Mettie Sanders, Badie Evada Hall, and Lillie Foster.
Mr. Foster was preceded in death by his mother, two daughters, Esta Lee and Nina Ray Foster; three brothers, Marvin Oliver Foster, Clavin Clayton Foster and Delbert Foster; and sister, Lorie Foster.
The funeral was held at the Galatia Chruch on July 17. Burial followed in the Galatia Cemetery.
