SOUTHWEST CITY, Mo. — John Ronald Edmisten, 66, of Southwest City, Mo., died Sept. 21, 2005, in Grove General Hospital in Grove, Okla. He was born Aug. 19, 1939, in Jefferson Parrish, La., to James Benton and Helen Marie Ross Edmisten. Raised in Sulphur Springs, he was a long time resident of the area.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Edmisten of Sulphur Springs, Rick Edmisten and wife MaeJean of Tahlequah, Okla.; a daughter, Debbie Claytor of Great Falls, Mont.; two sisters, Wilma Nuggent of Colorado, Peggy Eriksen of Georgia; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lee Cemetery near Gravette. Arrangements are by Ozark Funeral Home in Southwest City.
