FORD, Jas. - Jas. Ford died Thursday morning at his home five miles north of town. His death was caused by typhoid and pneumonia. Mr. Ford hauled wood and will be remembered as having lost the fingers off both hands by freezing many years ago. He was fifty-six years old.
