McCOOL, John Jacob - John Jacob McCool, a well known and respected resident of the Pea Ridge section, died at the home of Walter Goff, west of the town of Pea Ridge, at 11 o'clock Monday night, aged 70 years. Mr. McCool was a native of Coffee county, Tennessee but had been a resident of this section practically all of his life and had a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. He is survived by two sons, Jim McCool of Denoy, Okla. and Bill McCool, Pittsburg, Kan.; and two daughters, Mrs. Willis Keen and Mrs. Frank Crabtree, both of near Pea Ridge, and a number of other relatives. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Pea Ridge by Rev. W.T. Bone, assisted by Rev. Joseph Price. Interment was in the Pea Ridge cemetery.

John McCool, aged 69 years and a resident of this county for nearly 40 years, died at the home of his nephew in McDonald county, Mo. Monday. He was buried on Pea Ridge Tuesday. Two sons and two daughters survive him.

McCOOL, Tennie MITCHELL - {from The Bentonville Democrat) Mrs. Tennie McCool, wife of John McCool, died at 4:30 a.m. Monday, August twenty—fifth at the family home six miles northeast of Bentonville, aged sixty—eight years. She had been ill for some time. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Carnahan of Pea Ridge, were held at the home at three o'clock Monday afternoon and interment made in the Pea Ridge cemetery. Mrs. McCool, whose maiden name was Miss Tennie Mitchell, was born on the same place where she died, on the property which originally belonged to her parents. Besides her husband she is survived by a number of children and other relatives.
