Born January 2, 1896, Buford, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Died July 15, 1979, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.

Henry B. Ivens, 83, a lifetime resident of Mt. Home, died Sunday at Baxter Genreal Hospital. He was a protestant and was retired from the Missouri Pacific Railroad.
Born Jan 22, 1896 in Buford, he was the son of the late Mary Rabey Ivens and Mart Iven. He and the former Pear White were married in 1916 at Rush Creek.
Mr. Iven was preceded in death by his parents, three daughters and two grandsons.
Survivors include his wife of Mt. Home; three sons, Harold Ivens, Harlin Ivens and Hershel Ivens, all of Mt. Home; one daughter, Mrs. Jewel Nesbitt of Mt. Home; one brother, Andrew Ivens of Arkansas City, KS; three half brothers, Chuck Ivens, Charlie Ivens and Johnnie Ivens, all of Brinkely; 19 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Richard Smithson officiating.
Pallbearers included Harold, Nesbitt, Gary Nesbitt, Dwight Nesbitt, Mike Nesbitt, Rick Nesbitt and Jerry Ivens.
Honorary pallbearers were Rex Ivens and Larry Ivens.
Interment took place at Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery.
