Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Marie Franks, age 87, of Mt. Home will be held Friday, October 7, 10:00AM at the Burnt School House Cemetery in Lone Rock, AR. Visitation for Mrs. Franks will be held Thursday, October 6, at the Roller Funeral Home from noon until 9:00PM with the family receiving friends 6-8PM. Mrs. Franks passed away October 3, 2005 at the Gassville Nursing Center in Gassville, AR.
Mrs. Ruby Marie Franks was born July 28, 1918, to Charlie Samuel Harrington and Elizabeth Manerva Dixon Harrington, in Big Flat, AR. She married Clyde Dale Franks May 10, 1936, in Cozahome, AR. She was a lifetime area resident. Mrs. Franks worked as a sales clerk for a retail shoe store and she was a member of the Protestant faith.
Mrs. Ruby Marie Franks is survived by her son Clyde Franks, Jr and his wife Sherry of Lakeland, AR, daughter Wanda Chenevey and her husband Don of Mt. Home, AR, son-in-law Bob Harrison of Norfork, AR, 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Shirley Harrison, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
