Graveside funeral services for Mr. Clyde Dale Franks, age 93, of Gassville will be held Friday, July, 29, 10:00AM at the Brunt School House Cemetery in Lone Rock. Visitation will be Thursday, noon-9PM at the Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8PM. Mr. Franks passed away July 25, 2005, at the Baxter Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Clyde Dale Franks was born June 20, 1912, to Marion Walter Franks and Frances Rice Franks. He married Ruby Harrington May 10, 1936, at Cozahome, Arkansas. Clyde served in the US Army during WWII. He was a machine operator of the Arkansas State Forestry Service. Mr. Franks enjoyed gardening and visiting with friends.
Mr. Clyde Dale Franks is survived by his wife Ruby Franks; son, Clyde Franks, Jr. (Sherry) of Oakland; daughter, Wanda Chevevey (Don) of Mt. Home; son-in-law, Bob Harrison of Norfork; sister, Della Hansen of Idaho; eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Shirley Harrison, three brothers and three sisters.
