Helen Chapman of Mt. Home died Wednesday (Jan 20, 1999) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. She was 83.
Mrs. Chapman was born Jan 30, 1915, at Norfork to Theodore and Elva Hurst. She married Wilson Ray Chapman on July 29, 1939 at Little Rock. She was a homemaker and a member of the Iuka Church of Christ.
She is survived by four sons, Carrol and wife Dolly Chapaman of Gassville, Jarroll and his wife Linda Chapman of Mt. Home, David and wife Patsy Chapman of Mt. Home and Steve and wife Connie Chapman of Norfork; two daughters, Jewel and husband Dwight Hutson of Mt. Home and Fern and husband Robert Holt of Raleigh, NC; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Homer Hurst of Blacksburg, VA; three sister Ophilea Davis of Batesville, Jessie Brim of Eugene, OR and Inez Ferranti of Burlington, CT. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson, three brothers and one sister.
Services will be 2PM Saturday at Kirby-Conner-Boaz Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Howard officiating. Burial will be in the Burnt School House Cemetery at Lone Rock. Visitation will be 5-8PM today at Krby-Conner-Boaz Funeral Home.
