Funeral services for Joe (J.T.) Thomas Beavers, 46, a former resident of Baxter County, will be held today (Thursday) at 11AM in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery with military gravside services. Rev Troy Melton will officiate.
Mr. Beavers, a construction worker, died Friday at his residence in Denver, CO. He was a Baptist and an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Beavers was born Aug 23, 1929, in Norfork , the son of Albert L. and Ruby Smith Beavers.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs Ruby Samuels of Holly Springs, MS; his father Albert L. Beavers of Memphis, TN; two sons, Joe Mike Beavers and Chan Beavers, both of Southhaven, MS; two brothers Scottye Beavers and Carlisle Beavers, both of Memphis; and two sister Carolyn Marcel of Houma, LA and Fern Curtis of Memphis.
Pallbearers will be Charles McMorrow, Allen Reddel, John P. Murray, Walter Session, Fred Phelps and Edward Czarnecki.
