Jerry L. Chapman of Mt. Home died Friday (Dec 31, 1999) at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was 41.
He was born Dec 13, 1958, in Mt. Home to John D. and Bernice White Chapman. He married the former Norma Leal, June 9, 1984. He was a production technician for Baxter Lab. Mr. Chapman was an avid hunter, coached the Pee Wee Baseball AA and AAA leagues and enjoyed his family. He was a member of the Twin Lakes Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Chapman of the home; two children, Johnny Chapman and Kimberly Chapman of the home; his parents, John and Bernice Chapman of Mt. Home; one brother, Glenn Chapman of Mt. Home; two sisters, Roberta Farris of Clarkridge and Vivian McCutcheon of Flippin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Chapman was preceded in death by a sister Linda Rosson and an infant sister.
Visitation will be noon-8PM Sunday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM.
A funeral service will be 1PM Monday (Jan 3, 2000) at Twin Lakes Baptist Church with Dr. Sam Bailey officiating. Burial will be at Brunt Schoolhouse Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Kirby-Boaz Funeral Directors.
Kirby-Boaz Funeral Directors and the United States Forestry Service have provided for the planting of a tree as a living memorial and tribute to Mr. Chapman.
