Graveside services for Jesse G. Hency, 56, a former Garfield resident, who died at 9:20 p.m. last Monday in a Kansas City, Mo., motel whererhe was staying, from an apparent heart attack, were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Roeller Cemetery, Gateway, Ark., under the direction of Williamson Chapel, Cassvile, Mo.

Mr. Hency was born Dec. 11, 1921, in Garfield. He had lived in the Garfield and Rogers area most of his life. He was a disabled American veteran of World War II.

He is survived by three sons, Johnny Hency, Rogers, and Robert Hency and DeWayne Hency, both of Germany; five brothers, Clemet Hency and Marvin Hency, both of Rogers, Ray Hency, LaHabra, Calif., Jim Hency, Cassville, and Wayne Hency, Eureka Springs, and a sister, Mrs. Nadine Holman, Republic, Mo.
