John W. Sharp, 70, of Melbourne, son of the late John Wesley Sharp and Minnie Bell Callahan Sharp, died Monday (sic) March 15, 1993 at the Calico Rock Medical Center. He was born September 8, 1922 in Tuckerman.
Survivors include one brother, William Earl Sharp; one sister-in-law, Willie Sharp of Brockwell; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
Services were Wednesday (sic) March 15, 1993 at 2PM at graveside with Forrest Tucker officiating.
Pallbearers wer Jerry Hopper, Sam Sharp, Son Lamb, Eddie Creighton, Bill Mann and David Sharp.
Burial was in the Owens Cemetery at Brockwell under the direction of the Howard Funeral Home in Melbourne.
