Funeral Services Held
for Thomas D. Couch
Thomas D. Couch, life-long resident of this county, died at his home near Brockwell, Wednesday October 18, at the age of 67 years. Mr. Couch spent practically all his life in the vicinity of Newburg.
In 1903 he was married to Miss Emma Simmons, who survives him. Mr. Couch united with the Baptist Church early in life.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ernest Graham of Brockwelll, Mrs. Clarence Hodge of Oak Grove, LA, and Mrs. Verion Hively of Neosho, MO; two sons, Philmon Couch of Wenatchee, WA and Cleo Couch of Brewster, WA; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sister, five half-sisters, and one half-brother.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, services being conducted by minister J.M. Rush of Sidney. Burial was in the Owens Cemetery, near Bockwell, the Roller-Barber Funeral Service having charge of arrangements.
