SHAW, Reuben Wesley - Reuben Wesley Shaw, 70 years of age, died at his home in Cherokee City following a lingering illness December 17, 1927. On September 20, 1881 he was united in marriage to Ida I. Crisman. To this union were born two children, Mrs. Etta Howerton and Mrs. Laura Yates, who in addition to the widow survive him. Mr. Shaw was a well known and highly respected citizen of his community, always interested in the upbuilding and advancement of the things that made his community better. He was a good man and will be sadly missed by his family, friends and community. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W.B. Medley, followed by interment in the cemetery just north of Cherokee City.
