HENDREN, John - John Hendren, the eldest son of Capt. and Mrs. W.H. Hendren of Row, Okla., died near that place Tuesday of last week at the age of about 55 years. Mr. Hendren formerly lived in this section, in fact was his boyhood home. His sisters, Mrs. W.H. Austin of this place, Mrs. J.B. Vandeventer of Joplin and his brothers, N.G. and E.L. and families of this place, all attended the funeral which occurred at Cherokee City on Thursday last. The News-Herald is joined by a host of friends of the family in extending condolence to the bereaved.
