Calico Rock Progress, Calico Rock, Arkansas, June 20, 1930:

Mrs. Martha Dunn died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Irvin Russell, who
resides in East Calico Rock, on June 12, 1930and was buried June 13, 1930 at the
Henderson Cemetery. Mrs. Dunn was 89 years old.

The Baxter Bulletin, Mountain Home, Arkansas, July 4, 1930:

Mrs. Martha Dunn died June 12, 1930. She was born April 21, 1841. She was a
resident of Baxter County for 59 years just moving to Calico Rock, Izard County
two years ago. She came to Arkansas from Mississippi 61 years ago. Survivors are
two daughters, Mrs. Ida Payne of Henderson, Arkansas and Mrs. Ella (Mrs. J. R.)
Russell of Calico Rock, Arkansas, two sons; John Dunn of Calico Rock and Will
Dunn of Wetumpka, Oklahoma. Burial was in Herron Cemetery.

(Martha Dunn was buried in the Herron Cemetery. Prior to the impounding of Lake
Norfork, her grave was relocated to what is now known as the Custer-Herron
Cemetery. The relocation took place in 1943.)
