Thursday, November 9, 1933
(from Cherokee City) Word came Wednesday morning that Carl Allen had passed away at his home at 6:45 a.m. He was born August 15, 1900 and passed away November 1, 1933, age 33 years, 2 months and 16 days. He was converted in May 1929. He leaves to mourn his passing a wife and two children, father and mother, and five brothers and other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted by Elder Enix at Bethel school house and burial in the Dickson cemetery. The community extends sympathy to the bereaved ones.
