Funeral services for Ellinor M. Sperry of Gassville will be at 10AM Monday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Louis Stephens officiating. Mrs. Sperry died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at Belton Research Hospital in Belton, MO. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Sunday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home. She was 83.
Mrs. Sperry was born June 7, 1921, at Topeka, KS, to James W. and Julia Ellin Coyne Carroll. She married Burgess N. Sperry March 29, 1341. She was bookkeeper for AT&T and live in Kansas City, MO, prior to moving to Gassville in 1972.
Mrs. Sperry was a member of Eastern Star of Forsyth, MO.
She is survived by five sons, Gerald Sperry of Belton, Michael G. Sperry of Bull Shoals, Patrick D. Sperry of Mt. Home, Burgess W. Sperry of Grandview, MO and Jeffery J. Sperry of Kansas City; four daughters, Carol M. Sperry and Toni E. Sperry, both of Gassville, Jennifer J. Sperry of Mt. Home and Stephanie L. Sperry of Kansas City; 36 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burgess N. Sperry, one son, Garry Sperry and her parents.
Burial will be in Norfork Cemetery with Gerald Sperry, Michael Sperry, Patrick Sperry, Burgess Sperry, Levi Sperry and Robert Sperry as pallbearers.
Memorial may be made to the Memorial Account Fund for Ellinor Sperry at First Federal Bank.
Arrangements are by Kirby-Boaz Funeral Directors.
