Mack Rhodom Pryor, aged 92, of Norfork died Monday in a local hospital. Funeral services were scheduled for 2PM Wednesday in the Church of Christ at Norfork, with Bro Arthur P. Davis, minister of the Mt. Home Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was in Norfork Cemetery, under the direction of the Roller Funeral home.
Mr. Pryor, a retired farmer, merchant and cotton dealer, was born in Seymour, MO, on March 10, 1870, He had resided in Norfork for the past 74 years and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Harlin Pryor of 622 Hardesty, Kansas City, MO and G.R. Pryor of 58 Norwood Circle, Birmingham, AL; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Davis of Norfork and Berniece Gannon of Kansas City; two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Mr. Pryor served several years ago in the state legislature.
Active pallbearers were Jim Kincaid, Gus Harvey, Ralph Martin, George Martin, Zion Small and Bess Kirby. Honorary pallbearers were Ed Simpson Melvin Finley, Joe Adams, G.A. Garner, Henry Hager and Lefty Harvey.
