Frank E. Lawrence, 82, of Norfork passed away Tuesday, Oct 3, 2006, at Baxter Regional Medical Center. A funeral will be 2PM Friday at Norfork Baptist Church. Visitation will be noon-9PM today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM.
He was born March 29, 1924, in Bristow, OK, to Ray and Myrtle Fitzhugh Lawrence. He served in the US Army during World War II. On May 8, 1948, he married Beatrice Killian in Mt. Home. He enjoyed gardening and volunteered as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army.
Mr. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Beatrice Lawrence; son Rick Lawrence of Norfork; daughter, Pam (Jim) Smith of Lonoke; four grandchildren, Tony, Renee, Leah and Derek; six great grandchildren; and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
Burial will be at Norfork Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
Arrangements by Roller Funeral Home.
