Henry R. Haney, 73, of Gassville died Saturday, Jan 20, 2007. He was born Dec 5, 1933, at Cartney to Bob and Elizabeth Helms Haney. On March 15, 1958, he married Sibyl Duggins in Mt. Home. A lifetime area native, he was a US Army veteran and a retired truck driver. He enjoyed dirt track stock car racing, riding horses, rodeo and farming.
Survivors are his wife, Sibyl Haney of the home; a son Ray (Gwen) Haney of Flippin; two daughters, Patti (John) Ward of Centerton and Donna (Calvin) Andrews of Farmington; a brother, Orville Haney of Pamona, KS; three sisters, Alberta Sanders of Pineville, Sue Friend of Springdale and Linda Kneuper of Antioch, CA; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and a sister-in-lay, Mary Haney of Mt. Home. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Pete Haney and an infant son and daughter.
Visitation will be from noon-9PM Tuesday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM. A graveside service will be at 2PM Wednesday in the Norfork Cemetery.
