Last rites were held Friday at 2PM at the Norfork Church of Christ for William Harrison Greer, age 64, a native of Baxter County who died October 18, at Fresno, CA, following an extended illness. Bro. Doyle Davenport officiated.
Mr. Greer, a retired maintenance man, resided at 1288 Effie Street in Fresno, where he had lived for about five years. He had been a member of the Church of Christ for 21 years and was a World War I veteran.
He was bon June 1, 1894, at Big Flat.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eva Greer of the home; three sons, Thomas Greer of Clovis, CA, Eddie Greer of Red Bluff, CA and Fred Greer of Oklahoma City, OK; four daughters, Mrs. Ruben King and Mrs. Wilma Cox, both of Fresno, Mrs. Raymond Kung of Sacramento, CA and Mrs. Clarice Fellows of Benton Harbor, M ; three sisters, Mrs. Saddie Setzer of Sacramento, CA and Mrs. Etta Corter and Mrs. Minta Moon, both of Lincoln, NE; two brothers, James W. Greer of Norfork and Robert Greer of Flippin; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Interment was in the Norfork Cemetery. Roller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

(Note: His gravestone is inscribed Harrison Henry Greer, but his obituary has his name listed as William Harrison Greer. He went by the name of Harrison, and in some items he was referred to as William Henry Harrison Greer which some acquanintances indicte was his full and correct name.)
