James A. FRIX

Norfork Cemetery
Baxter County,
Arkansas

December 24, 1842-September 5, 1916.

This old styled tablet marker with a Masonic emblem is at the head of the grave, and from the appearance, it was probably placed there within a few years of James A. Frix's death. Immediately behind it (ends show in this photo)is a relatively new gray granite marker with Confederate States Army inscribed on it, but it does not appear to be a true military marker.)
