Former Norfork resident, William M. Finley, 65, of Harrisonburg, LA, died Thursday (Feb 8, 1990) in Ferriday, LA.
Services will be held today at 2PM at Norfork United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Nance officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at Norfork Cemetery.
Finley was born Oct 16, 1924, in Norfork. He attended Norfork High School, DeVry Institute and National Radio Institute. He was a radio and television repairman. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II and was a member of the Norfork United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.M. 'Malven' and Luna Cockrum Finley.
Survivors include one sister, Wanda Rowe of Pea Ridge; one niece; one nephew and one grandniece.
Pallbearers are F.L. 'Lefty' Harvey, Andy Simpson, Dick Dulin, Louis Alexander, Alvin Reynolds and Jack Hughes.
Memorials may be made to Norfork United Methodist Church.
Funeral arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
