This cenotaph is in the Norfork Cemetery in memory of Rudolph Conley, Jr., who was buried at sea.

*Obituary
Rudolf Conley, Jr., 50, of Pasadena died Tuesday, July 5, 1983, in a local hospital. He was retired from the US Navy as a Chief Petty Officer after 20 years service and was currently employed with Weingartens, Inc. He was a member of the Baptist Church, the George Holly Lodge No. 745 AF&AM in Willoughby, Ohio; a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner with Al Koran Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. in Cleveland, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Conley of Pasadena; daughters, Christine Baker of Stockton, CA, Terry Oyos of Houston, Ginger Baker of Stockton, CA, Carmen Conley with the US Navy, San Diego, CA, Barbara Coontz of Ohio; sons, Ralph Conley of South Houston; sister, Glenda Bussard of Kansas City, MO; Brother, Barton Conley of Independence, MO; aunts, Lucille Best and Geneice Hillen, both of Missouri; and 12 grandchildren.
Service will be at 10AM Saturday at Pasadeay Funeral Chapel with Dr. Ron Lyles officiating. Military service under the direction of American Legion Post No. 521 and Masonic service under the auspices of Pasadena Masonic Lodge No. 1155 AF&AM.
