*Obituary
Visitation for Oren M. Rouse of Mt. Home will be 9AM until 9PM today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8PM. Mr. Rouse, 88, died Sunday (Sep 27, 1992) at Baxter Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be at 2PM Wednesday at the Norfork Church of Christ with Brother Don Pfalser officiating. Burial will be in Norfork Cemetery with Darren Rouse, Todd Rouse, Don Rouse, Jr., Chuck Rouse, Scott Rouse and Chris Rouse serving as pallbearers.
Survivors include two sons, Don Rousse and his wife Ivon of Mt. Home and Dean Rouse of Mt. Home; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Alfred and Ellen McNeil Rouse; his wife Dessie Hager Rouse; one daughter Ghenel Rouse; two brothers and two sisters.
Mr. Rouse was lifetime Baxter County resident, born in Arkana, July 22, 1904, He was a painter for the US Army Corps of Engineers. Mr. Rouse enjoyed making children's furniture, tables and chairs in his younger years. He was a member of the Norfork Church of Christ.
Memorials may be made to the Norfork Cemetery Fund.
