Dale Eugene Hayes of Oxford, son of the late Forest and Hazel Hayes was born March 25, 1950, at Tina, Missouri. he died October 25, 1995 at Greenville, Mississippi. He was 45.

Mr. Hayes was united in marriage to Royce Jean Kyzer July 2, 1972 in Greenville, Mississippi. He worked for Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel Company as a tug boat pilot.

Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Elizabeth Hayes of Oxford; three sons, Danny Hayes, Thomas Hayes, and Christopher Hayes all of Oxford; two sisters, Dorothy Shelton and Ruth Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Graveside services were held October 28 at Oxford Cemetery in Oxford with Reverend Charles Faith officiating.

Pallbearers were Harold Ray Jeffery, David Wilson, F. M. Merryman, Bill Killian, Gene Lockie and Eric Sanders.

Interment was at Oxford Cemetery in Oxford under the direction of Howard Funeral Home in Melbourne.
