Mrs Combs Dies After Long Illness

Mrs. Opal Pinkston Combs aged 37 of Oxford died Thursday night at the Izard County Memorial Hospital at Melbourne, following several months Illness.

Mrs. Combs was born at Wiseman. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Her husband, Ralph Combs is principal at Oxford High School.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Lecel Ernest and a daughter, Carolyn both of the home; her parents Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Pinkston of Oxford; two sisters, Mrs. Flora Martin of Wenatchee, Wash., and Mrs. Luna Murray of Jackson, Miss., and three brothers, Ernest Pinkston of Oxford, Roy and Palmer Pinkston both of Wenatchee, Wash.

Services will be held at the Oxford Methodist Church, Sunday afternoon, by Rev. G. J. Light of Mountain Grove, Mo., and Rev. D. J. Whitehurst of Melbourne. Burial will be in Oxford Cemetery.
