BALDWIN, Lucinda - {from The Bentonville Sun} Died, at her home near Oakley Chapel on September 19, 1905, Mrs. Lucinda Baldwin, aged 83 years. Mrs. Baldwin had lived here alone for over twenty-five years, seeing to her stock and doing her own house work without any assistance, up to the last day of her life when she walked all over her farm with her two sons, who had come from Indiana to visit her and desired that she might get a good family to rent her farm and see to her work for her as they did not want her to live alone any longer and do her work without help. Her last hours were peaceful and she passed away quickly and seemingly without pain. She leaves the two sons, Joshua Baldwin of Boonville, Ind. and Monroe Baldwin of Petersburg, Ind., who were with her at the time of her death, and also a daughter who lives in Indiana. Funeral services were held at home yesterday morning and the remains were laid to rest in the neighboring cemetery.
