September 5, 1880 - January 27, 1948
C. M. Tidwell, aged 68, died at his home in Fordyce Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. He had lived in Fordyce 40 years, having come from Paris, Texas. He is survived by his widow, two sons, W. V. Tidwell of Route 2, Camden, and Charles Tidwell of Fordyce; three daughters, Mrs. W. W. Nutt of Shreveport, La., Mrs. Percy Monk of San Antonio, Texas, and Mrs. Walter Culley of Fordyce. Burial will be at Fordyce Sunday at 3 p.m. with Benton Funeral Home in charge. (Camden News - January 29, 1948)
