Mark Thomas Rushing, 68, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on November 30, 2023. He was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on April 13, 1955.
Mark played sports in Junior High and high school and enjoyed football, baseball, and tennis. He continued his education completing his first year at Washington and Lee University, then graduating from The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with his Bachelor of Psychology. Mark moved on to do his graduate work at the University of West Virginia and graduated with a PHD. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Mark is preceded in death by parents Jack L Rushing and Marjorie Rushing.
Mark is survived by his sister Nancy Lee Rushing-Smith; his nieces Tonya Lee Book and Ashley Amber Book; his great nieces and nephews Summer Cash, Alex Cash, Adriyanna Michelle Lee, Savannah Lauren Collins, and Autumn Kelm; and many friends and extended family.
