BELLA VISTA — Dr. Henry C. Hink Jr., 89, of Bella Vista and Bentonville died Jan. 19, 2007, in Ardmore, Okla. He was born May 31, 1917, in Van Buren to Henry Clay and Jennie Alice Remes Hink.
He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He was in private practice in Bentonville and Rogers for more than 46 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bentonville and the American Legion and Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane E. Hink, and one son, Henry C. Hink III.
Survivors include one son, David R. Hink of Fayetteville; one daughter, Susan E. Jeter and husband Billy of Pine Bluff; two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers.
Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home, online at www.funeralmation.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
