*When William H M Bowen was born in 1875 in Arkansas, his father, James, was 23 and his mother, Tennessee, was 24. He married Margaret Edna Strider Hawkins on December 18, 1907. They had two children during their marriage. He died in 1917 in Pangburn, Arkansas, at the age of 42, and was buried there.
