September 18, 1910 - July 8, 1964
William "Pete" Calaway, 53, a retired farmer of near Hampton, died at his home Wednesday. He was a veteran of World War II and a Methodist. Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Friday at Moses Chapel Cemetery by Frazier Funeral Service. His survivors include his mother, Mrs. Annie B. Calaway, Hampton; a brother, R. G. Calaway, Victoria, Tex.; and two sisters, Mrs. Brady Fletcher, Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Dalton Turner, Norphlet. (The El Dorado Times - July 10, 1964)
