James O. (Doc) Shaddox Jr., 48, of Brightwater, died Feb. 25, 1996, at his home.
He was born Nov. 17, 1947, in Bentonville to James O. Sr. and Mahota Williams Shaddox, he was a lifetime resident of the area, a farmer and a member of Brightwater Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mable Shaddox of the home; his mother, Mahota Shaddox Sills of Rogers; one daughter, Kelly Brizendine of Rogers; one brother, Bruce Shaddox of Rogers; two sisters, Tempe Hockenberry of Claremore, Okla., and Jan Shaddox Spears of Rogers.
Graveside service was Tuesday in Mania Cemetery at Larue, Rev. Jim Rowland officiating. Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers directing.
Pallbearers were Rick Blevins, Randy Blevins, David Bradley and James Lester.
