George W. Mounce, 59, of Delaney, died Thursday. He was born July 19, 1914 in Health, the son of John B. and Svbia Barker Mounce.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Gertie Mounce of the home; five sons, Lee, John, Bob, Terry and Steve, all of Delaney; his father of Fayetteville; three brothers, Bill and Calvin of Fayetteville and Richard of Springdale; five sisters, Mrs. Chloe Taylor and Mrs. Lydia Hopkins of Fayetteville, Mrs. Bertha Shepherd of Springdale, Mrs. Ida Jernigan of Eureka Springs and Mrs. Flora Skeen of New Meadows, Idaho and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday at the Walnut Grove Community Building with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery under direction of Nelson'a Funeral Home.
