Valerie Renee Blake, age 23, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was born October 21, 1997 in Vernon, Texas to Paula Garcia. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Catarina Garcia and Uncle Raul Garcia Sr.
Valerie grew up in Rogers. She graduated from Rogers High School in 2015. Valerie was full of life and would light up any room she stepped foot in. She had a contagious smile and the most beautiful brown eyes. She had a big heart and was always willing to help a friend in need, even if just to listen. She had a fighter spirit and lived life boldly. She was talented in doing makeup, loved reading, dressing up, making people laugh, and she was a foodie. She could light up a room with her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. Most of all, she loved her family. She was a great daughter, sister, and friend. To know Valerie was to love Valerie. She will be sorely missed.
Valerie is survived by her loving mother; Paula Garcia and husband Don Rawlins of Rogers, brother Andrew Coronado of Abernathy, Texas, aunts; Rosie Garcia, Margie Garcia, and Modesta Garcia, uncles; Eliseo Garcia and wife Denise, Eligio Garcia and wife Norma, nephew; Damian Coronado, cousins; Veronica Hernandez, Katie Garcia, Jessica Hernandez, Bella Garcia, Elizabeth Garcia, Cristian Garcia, Jesse Garcia Jr., Roy Garcia, Antonio Hernandez, Adrian Sainz, Arturo, Sainz, Emmanuel Garcia, Alex Garcia, Jamie Garcia, Eligio Garcia Jr., Amanda Dreasher, Erica Garcia, E.J. Garcia, Amy Garcia, Jacob Garcia, Isaac Garcia, Raul Garcia Jr., and a host of extended family and friends.
A private funeral service will be held under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home of Rogers. A private interment will be held at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery.
