January 10, 1934 - October 22, 2023
Thelma Lee Ingram, daughter of the late Ray Ingram and Effie Arnold Ingram, was born January 10, 1934 in Iuka, Arkansas. She departed this life October 22, 2023 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 89 years, 9 months and 12 days. Thelma was a lifelong resident of Izard County. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, niece, homemaker and friend. During her working years, she was employed as a grocery clerk in Norfork and at the Shirt Factory in Gassville. She retired from Baxter Lab after 33 years of employment. After retirement from the Lab, she farmed, raising and selling cattle. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Community Church.
Thelma is survived by her brother: Ralph Ingram of Calico Rock; her close friend: Betty Killian of Calico Rock; her Pleasant Valley Community Church Family; numerous cousins and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation and funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 24 at Pleasant Valley Community Church with Monte Neal officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Staggs Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Pleasant Valley Community Church, 2574 AR 5 Hwy, Calico Rock, Arkansas 72519.
Pallbearers: Jerry Branscum, Dwight Neal, Ewell Neal, Lee Light, Matt Sanders, Corey Sanders.
Honorary Pallbearers: A. J. Neal and John Johnson.
