Obituary
Lance Douglas Branstetter, 51, of Batesville, Arkansas departed this life June 22, 2021.

He was born February 22, 1970, in West Plains, Missouri; the third child of Earnest Dwight Branstetter and Rachel (Shaw) Branstetter.

Lance is survived by his Father, Dwight; one brother, David Branstetter (Marva) of Sulphur Rock; one sister, Shelley Watts (Tommy) of Mountain Home; nieces and nephews, Joseph Branstetter (Rachel), Garth Branstetter (Corey), Candis Jorgensen (Seth), Matthew Watts (Lisa), Westley Watts (Abigail), as well as many other relatives and countless friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Rachel.

Lance was gifted at an early age with a passion for music. He greatly enjoyed composing, writing, mixing, and recording music; writing, mixing, and composing many of his own songs. Lance owned the recording studio "Let it Loose Recording" at one time. He was extremely talented on instruments including guitar, banjo, and piano to name a few, and was at one time, the guitarist for the band "Mutha's Day Out". He also co-wrote songs for the 'Mortal Kombat' soundtrack. Lance's artistic side also greatly enjoyed writing poems and drawing.

Lance had a gentle heart that was evident to anyone fortunate enough to know and spend time with him.

He was a lifelong lover of animals, and loved his kitty, Checkers, beyond words.

A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, July 01, 2021, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville. Masks will be required to enter by request of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to the Humane Society of Independence County, 5 Environmental Drive, Batesville, AR 72501.

We celebrate his life and will forever cherish his kind spirit and the special times we had together. He will be forever and always loved, cherished, and missed.
