Harold Dee Murphy, 24, 1221 N. Highland St., died in a Little Rock hospital early Wednesday from injuries received in an automobile accident here on May 22. Born March 14, 1942, in DeQueen, he was the son of Jake and Edna Devasier Murphy and had lived here and in the Norphlet area most of his life. He was employed by the Smackover Drilling Co, and previously by Kroger Stores in El Dorado. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents; three brothers, William M. Sheriton of El Paso, Tex., and Richard Murphy and Randall Murphy, both of El Dorado; two sisters, Mrs. Donald Johnson of El Dorado and Mrs. Clovis Hallman of Little Rock, and his grandmother, Mrs. Susie Barnes of Locksburg. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Young's. (The El Dorado Times - August 25, 1966)
