Noble Lee Maxie, Sr, 86 of Hoxie, passed away July 30, 2023, at St. Bernards in Jonesboro.

He was born March 30, 1937, in Lauratown, AR to Lum Columbus Maxie & Lottie Hutsell Maxie. He was a family man that loved to go hunting and fishing. Before retiring he was a factory worker at Skil and is of the Baptist belief.

Noble was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara Fry Maxie; brothers, Alvie Maxie, Edgar Maxie, Bill Maxie & Horace Maxie; sisters, Claudia Golden & Syble McCampbell.

He is survived by his sons, Noble Lee Maxie, Jr. of Hoxie & Ray Maxie of Hoxie; daughter, Lisa Maxie of Hoxie and several nieces, nephews, cousins "from both Maxie & Fry side of the family" and friends that love and will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be Wednesday August 2, 2023, from 10:00am-11:00am immediately followed by the funeral service beginning at 11:00am at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with Brent C Powell officiating.

Burial will be in Old Military Cemetary in Sedgwick under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Homes of Walnut Ridge & Lynn, Arkansas.
