April 24, 1966 - November 12, 2013
Ronnie V. Stephens, 47, of El Dorado, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013. He was born April 24, 1966, in Magnolia, to the late Claude and Joyce (Brown) Stephens. Ronnie was an active member of New London Baptist Church. He enjoyed model cars and fishing. He loved his wife and daughter "very, very much", as he was fond of saying.
Ronnie was also preceded in death by a brother, George Lewis.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Christie "Candy" (Wooten) Stephens; daughter, Sylvia Stephens; brothers, John Henry Lewis and Randy Stephens; sisters, BaTonya King, Lavonda Riddle and Sonya Stephens; mother-in-law, Cathy Weathersby; father-in-law, Roger Wooten and his wife, Jean; brother-in-law, Jeff Wooten and his wife, Tiffany; and sister-in-law, Vickie Morris and her husband, Aaron.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at New London Baptist Church in Strong with the Rev. Brandon Phillips and the Rev. Paul Purifoy officiating. Burial will follow at Green Grove Cemetery under the direction of Arkansas Funeral Care of Jacksonville.
