WYNNE - Robert Edward Hogan, 91, retired farmer and former caretaker of Bay Village Cemetery, died Thursday at Cross Ridge Community Hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home with burial in Bay Village Cemetery. He was a member of Bay Village Methodist Church. Mr. Hogan, the husband of Ella Brown Hogan, also leaves four daughters, Velma Snell of Harrisburg, Barbara Pierce and Priscilla Rhodes, both of Bay Village, and Kay Wilson of Hickory Ridge; a son, Johnny Clements of Bay Village, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Bay Village Cemetery.

WYNNE -- Ella Mae Brown Hogan, 87, a lifelong resident of the Bay Village and Cherry Valley area, died Sunday, Nov. 14, at CrossRidge Community Hospital in Wynne.

Born in Calico Rock, she was a homemaker and a member of Bay Village United Methodist Church. She served as secretary for the Bay Village Cemetery for many years.

Survivors include one son, Johnny W. Clements of Bay Village; four daughters, Velma Snell of Harrisburg, Barbara Pierce and Priscilla Rhodes, both of Bay Village, and Kay Wilson of Hickory Ridge; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Hogan; one daughter, Verlene Wilson; her parents, John and Amanda Sanders Brown; three sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home chapel in Wynne, with the Rev. Wayne Wood officiating. Burial will be in Bay Village Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be David Baker, Jeremy Burnett, Bill Cook, Gary Kirby, Mark Wilson and Chris Young.

Honorary pallbearers will include Teresa Bassing, Ken Burnett, Lisa Deys, Stephanie Guy, Claudette Jennings, Sharon Kirby, Linda Roberson and Cyndy Young.

Memorials may be made to the Bay Village Cemetery, in care of Pat Bell, 671 Cross Road 310, Cherry Valley 72324.
