Walter “Buster” Lee Greene, died July 22, 2018 at his home.
He was born March 18, 1944 in Garfield to Thomas Alvin Greene and Sarah Etta Dye Greene. He was a mechanic for Cobb-Vantress and a Navy Veteran aboard the USS Canopus (AS-34). He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and was a life member of the Pea Ridge Coffee Club. He loved horseback riding from his horses “Sis” and “Boots”. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Martha Byer of the home; a son, Berton Greene and wife Cori of Cassville; a daughter, Bronda Howell of Pea Ridge; step-children, John Reeves of Pea Ridge; and Brenda Reeves of Bentonville; one brother; one sister; grandchildren, Madyson Greene, Lena Greene, Grady Greene, Hannah Howell, Hailey Howell, and Sheridyn Reeves.
Service is set for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 25 at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge with Pastor Rick Booyer officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 1201 NE Legacy Pkwy, Bentonville, Ark. 72712.
