Darold Gene Carlat, Jr, 64, of Conway, Ar, went to be with his Heavenly Father on November 22, 2017, after a long battle with diabetes and kidney disease. He was born March 16, 1953 in Bay St. Louis, MS to the Darold Gene and Margaret Joyce Carlat .
Darold had a love for life, family and friends, but most of all was his love for the Lord. He was a member of University Church of Christ in Conway. He held various occupations to include fireman, truck driver and management. He was an outstanding athlete with exceptional talents in all sports, his favorites being football and baseball. For several years he enjoyed playing in and umpiring softball tournaments. His most favorite pastime of all however, was playing and talking about golf with his brothers.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Mary Carlat, daughters; Tamra Carlat and Magan Baldwin, son; Lee Stone, Step-sons, Aaron and Ryan Ivy' sister; Darlene( Keith) Aycock, brothers; Dale (Cindy) Carlat, Delwin (Beverly) Carlat and David Carlat. 6 grandchildren; Austin, Houston, Ila, Seth, Jonathan and Veronica. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret and Brother Danny Carlat.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Graveside service will be 11:00 am at Crestlawn Memorial Park, 472 Highway 64E, Conway
