Mr. Gary K. Higginbotham, SR., 47, of Crossett, died Thursday, September 20, 2007 at the Ashley County Medical Center. Mr. Higginbotham was a native of Crossett and a resident of Crossett for the past 27 years. He was raised in Hamburg and graduated from Hamburg High School. He was an electrician and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hamburg.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Valerie Higginbotham in 1957.

He is survived by two sons, Zachary Seth Higginbotham of Crossett and Gary Keith Higginbotham, Jr. of Hamburg, and their mother, Brenda Higginbotham of Crossett; his parents, J. D. & Gail Bing Higginbotham of Hamburg; three brothers, Jay Higginbotham of Crossett, Eric Higginbotham of Little Rock and John David Higginbotham of Crossett and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial of cremains are 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2007 in the Hamburg Cemetery with Dr. Bobby Pennington & Rev. Klois Hargis officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Zachary Seth Higginbotham, Gary Keith Higginbotham, Jr., Gary Carpenter and Matt Gulledge. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 352, Hamburg, AR 71646.
