Willie Watkins was born in El Dorado on March 12, 1962 to the late Parthenia Russell. He was called home on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 after a courageous battle with Cancer. He joined church at an early age attending First Baptist Church. In Highschool Willie played football and was a member of the track team. He enjoyed running track and excelled at it. Willie worked for the sanitation department for many years. He loved to fish and could often be found fishing on his time off. Willie was a very loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend who would go out of his way to help anyone he could.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Parthenia Russell Faison and step-father, Thester B Faison.

Those left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Telisha Washington and Shronda Washington of Houston, Texas; sisters, Sherry Russell and Betty Parker (Arthur Ray) of El Dorado; brother, Garry Faison, of Detroit, Michigan; grandchildren, Tizyrion Washington, Ma’Kiyah Love and Dominuque Love of Houston, Texas; nieces, Asha White and Tyenia Lee of El Dorado; Nephews Alex Parker of California and Chris Parker of El Dorado; great nephews, Kaden Williams and Landon Parker of Washington, D.C.; great niece Jalexia White of El Dorado; special friends, Mike Narcisse, Ronnie Woods and Beth Woods; and many other friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM at Beulah Grove Baptist Church in Wesson followed by Interment at Rehobeth Cemetery under the direction of Perry’s Funeral Chapels.
