Addie Orene Venable, 78, of Vilonia died Thursday (Nov. 4, 1999) at the Heritage Center.
Born Sept. 30, 1921, at Vilonia, daughter of William and Ester McCorkle Venable, she was a homemaker, a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Vilonia, a member of the Faulkner County Home Demonstration Extension Club and a children's education leader for many years.
Survivors are a brother, Ray Venable of Fort Worth, Texas; cousins Faye and Ralph Martin of Vilonia; and two nephews and two nieces.
Funeral services are 2:30 p.m. today at the Church of the Nazarene of Vilonia with the Rev. James Smith officiating. Burial will be in Vilonia Cemetery. Griffin Leggett-Conway is handling the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Fowlkes, Gerald Fowlkes, Wayne Bell, Hal Prescott, Mel Neighbors and Jerred Richie.
