March 4, 1922 - January 8, 2015
Emmett R. Wallace, 92 formerly of Camden, AR, resided in Garland, TX for 41 years and passed away Thursday, January 08, 2015. He was a B-24 Tail gunner in the Air Force and was a World War II veteran. He was born March 04, 1922 to Luther and Sophia Wallace.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bid, Bill and Jessie Wallace; sisters, Teen Evans and Nona Glover and grandson, Richard Green.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Billie Jean Wallace of Garland, TX; stepchildren, Matsy Jane Walker of Malakoff, TX, Deloris Jean Stoffers of Kemp, TX, Ben Wilcox of Port Neches, TX and Lisa Achord of Port Neches, TX; grandson, Michael Green of Sherman, TX and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Wallace will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00PM to 8:00PM Saturday at the funeral home.
