Charles Curry, 72, of Camden, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2016, in Camden. He was born Nov. 7, 1944, to Thurman and Inez Young-Curry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, two brothers, one uncle, five aunts, two nieces, and one sister-in-law.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine Curry of Camden; two sons, Ray Charles of Magnolia and Brent Curry of Camden; one daughter, Earma Tooks of Camden; sisters, Brenda Kelly, Virginia and Ruby Lee, all of McNeil, Linda and Ida Bell Strickland, both of Camden, Norissa Sharp of Magnolia, Vickie Weaver of Little Rock, Beatrice Curry of Pine Bluff, and Janice Johnson of Stephens; brothers, Robert Harper and Thurman Jr., both of Magnolia, Marcus, James, and Earvin, all of McNeil, Jackie of Waldo, and Jerry of El Dorado; his step-mother, Daisy Curry; one aunt, two uncles, five brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, 23 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a very special friend, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Marks Funeral home Chapel in Magnolia, with Rev. Henry Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Old St. Matthew Cemetery in McNeil, under the direction of Marks Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia.
